Aeolian Islands

Things to do - general

The Aeolian Islands are a volcanic archipelago in the Tyrrhenian Sea north of Sicily. The Aeolian Islands are a popular tourist destination in the summer and attract up to 200,000 visitors annually.

Astonishingly beautiful and extremely varied, the seven islands and various uninhabited islets of the Aeolian archipelago were designated a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2000 (Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi) are a little piece of paradise, a magical outdoor playground offering thrills and spills at every turn..

The amazing Aeolian Islands seduce visitors with their natural wealth, with their historical-cultural heritage, and with the mythological atmosphere you breath.
